A Closer Look at the Thermaltake Shock Console Headset

Once the headset is out of its plastic tomb we have a better feel of it, being very light weight. The cushions on both the ear cups and the headband are very, very cushy making the headset very comfortable for long gaming sessions even while wearing glasses. Each side of the headset features a glowing red Tt eSPORTS dragon logo. The microphone is fully adjustable and can even be removed.

The headband is completely adjustable to fit even the largest of heads. On the top it is emblazoned with the Tt eSPORTS and dragon logo.

This is the one area that I have the most concern about. Where the ear cups attach to the headset is plastic. However there is a rather large amount of flexibility so I don’t think breakage would be a problem here. Unless you are really mad and throw your headset around like a maniac.

The inline controller has two areas where it can control volume. In-game sound (SPDIF or 3.5mm audio jack) and chat volume (USB), allowing you to adjust the volume of your VOIP and in-game sound on-the-fly without having to ALT-TAB out to make changes.
