Conclusion

Thermaltake Volos gaming mouse

The Thermaltake Volos gaming mouse is available in two colors; Black and Combat White. It is nice to see that Thermaltake is not stuck on making just black accessories.

Each user has a specific preference on which mouse they use. A mouse is a very personal item, typically the user/mouse interaction is a love/hate relationship. Even in today’s market with all the available touchscreens on the market, none are really used for gaming. The mouse and keyboard is still the number one way to interact with the PC during gaming sessions. During the course of this review I used the Volos gaming mouse on a daily basis. In daily use the mouse performed well. The on the fly DPI adjustments were easy to configure and use. Desktop work with the Volos presented no problems. While the Thermaltake Volos gaming mouse was specifically designed for MOBA/MMORPG gaming, this doesn’t mean the FPS and adventure style games are left in the cold. In League of Legends the Volos performed admirably and I was able to play at some sort of proficiency that I was comfortable with however, this style of gaming I play every once in a while. I mainly play FPS, and in Battlefield 4 the Volos again performed well. The plethora of buttons on the mouse allowed me to keep my hands on the keys that are most important during a heavy firefight and allowed me to program quick access to additional items on the mouse. The Thermaltake Volos gaming mouse is not short on options and should work well for any gamer. The Thermaltake Volos gaming mouse is easily one of the finest mice I have used and will remain in my stable of tools for gaming, either away or at home.
