The Thermaltake Volos gaming mouse comes with software to manage the buttons, colors, and macros however, it isn’t necessary to operate the mouse the user can plug the mouse in and start gaming right away. Macros can be set up here as well as each of the profiles.
Each of the 14 buttons on the Thermaltake Volos gaming mouse can be programmed in the software and each of the of the button assignments can be assigned to one of 10 profiles. Battle mode changes the lighting effects of the mouse from a constant on to a on when clicked. This gives the user feedback on mouse clicks, etc.
Performance options of the Thermaltake Volos gaming mouse are available under the performance settings. These settings include 5 levels with each level having a custom DPI and polling rate. The Volos gaming mouse is capable of 8200 DPI. Lift off control settings are also configured in the performance options.
Under the lighting control options any of the 16.8 million available colors can be assigned to the four lighting areas of the Volos gaming mouse. Each profile can have a different color combination to give the user feedback as to which profile they currently have selected.
