Thermaltake Releases New Toughpower Grand RGB Platinum PSUs
Thermaltake is expanding their RGB LED power supply offerings with the addition of new Toughpower Grand RGB Platinum series PSUs. These range in capacities of 850W to 1200W so high-end users are well covered. What do they mean by RGB LED? Well, this lighting effect comes from a patented 256-color Riing 14 RGB fan as the cooling solution. Moreover, it can also do five lighting modes including RGB cycle, solid red, solid green, solid blue and solid white. Users can also choose to shut it off complete of course (but why?).
Features Other than RGB LED
What about non-RGB LED related features? The fully modular power supply unit uses 100% high quality 105 degrees Celcius Japanese capacitors. Tier-1 or bust. There is no compromise in this respect with the internal build quality. That is why Thermaltake is also confident about adding a Smart Zero fan feature which disables the fan when the load is under 40%. It is simply that efficient.
To make it even sweeter, Thermaltake is offering the Grand RGB Platinum series with a 10-year warranty coverage. That is guaranteed until at least 5 to 8 generations of different builds.
