A Closer Look (Accessories)
When you first open the box you see a cardboard insert that sits over the keyboard that is labeled
“Graphical User’s Interface Setup”. This insert explains how to use the included software to customize the keyboard to your liking. Very cool! Usually keyboard companies have you guessing as to how to use the included software. Also, the insert holds a little cardboard package that contains most of the accessories.
One of my favorite things about this keyboard is the packaging. It really shows that they truly cared about every little detail of the keyboard and that they hold a lot of pride in their work. When you unfold this cardboard package you will find two stickers, the user manual, a warranty information booklet, and a disc that holds the included software, but that’s not all of the accessories. What? Did you think that was it??
Lifting a flap towards the rear of the box reveals the attachable palm rest. It has the TT eSports logo engraved in red on the middle of the palm rest. It is of the highest quality and I couldn’t see it wearing away even after years of weather from the sweaty palms of a determined gamer.
Under that same flap you will also find a little bag made of very soft fabric. Inside you will find a beautiful sleeved USB cable along with a Tt eSports cable tie to allow you to neatly reduce the cable length to your needs. The head of the cable sports the Thermaltake logo and looks quite amazing. The sleeving is of the highest quality. It doesn’t slide around like some poorer sleeving jobs. Very impressed with the level of detail throughout this keyboard!
When you remove the keyboard and the cardboard insert that holds it in place you will find this carrying case. Like the other accessories it has the Tt eSports logo in the center of the bag and it proudly sports the Thermaltake name on the bottom right of the flap. The flap is held in place with Velcro. Inside the bag you will find the main pocket that holds the keyboard and you will also find another pocket behind that one that you can put the palm rest in and a smaller pocket closer to the top that is for the USB cable. The quality of the bag is great which is no surprised to me. All of the accessories that come with this keyboard are great, but what good are accessories if the keyboard’s quality isn’t up to par with the accessories. Let’s take a look.
