In most cases, stereo is all that is needed. Rather than having unnecessary “marketing” features I would rather have a headset that sounds good. Sound reproduction of the Thermaltake Cronos Gaming Headset. The highs and mid-range sound very clear and full and don’t have a hint of the tinny sound. Bass reproduction was very good as well. Bass frequencies seem to fill the ear cups but do not drown out the other frequencies. Overall sound quality is good and it does not matter if you’re watching movies, listening to music, or playing games.
