Conclusion |
If you are serious about your audio or gaming you need to get off of the onboard sound. No matter how good you think it sounds it will never be as good as a soundcard. You also need to make sure if you are going to spend the dough on a soundcard that you have a decent pair of headphones to back it up. The X-FI is going to make your sound better but it can’t perform miracles when it comes to mediocre headsets. There is a lot going for this card with all it’s little extras and the different gaming modes. I didn’t even get a chance to get into the cool things about EAX and Macro sounds. With all the benefits of this card I can’t see any reason not to at least buy this entry level X-FI sound card.
