Sapphire Dual-X R9 270 Graphics Card Review
Final Thoughts of the Sapphire Dual-X R9 270
AMD ended up doing a re-branding of some older GPU’s which is not uncommon for either GPU manufacture to do. Most of the time this is done as there where some minor changes the the GPU’s and it allows them to realign how the cards are presented to the consumer. Shown through our testing we can see that the Sapphire Dual-X R9 270 is a nice advance past the older 7850 series of cards while taking some great steps past the NVIDIA 560 series of cards. Once we threw in a more stout 680 into the mixed would could see right where the R9 270 falls into place. Getting a small 11-12% OC without even trying means that those that like to go deeper into tweaking all the settings and fan speeds can probably get a nice increase from the card. At a street price of around $200.00 (well it used to be about this price until the bitcoin people found out that it can crank out the work so it has driven up the price to about $250.00 I would say that the Sapphire Dual-X R9 270 would be a nice upgrade from any last generation card in either the AMD or NVIDIA stable.
