Rosewill RNX-MiniN2 802.11b/g/n USB 2.0 wireless adapter
Rosewill, the retail branding division for NewEgg, has been on a tear lately, releasing tons of product. One thing that is new, is small, button sized “N” capable wireless USB adapter, known as the MiniN2. It’s clean, it’s small… but does it work? Let’s find out! |

The RNX-MiniN2 is a small USB adapter, no doubt about it. When we have been used to large, flash drive sized units in the past, this type of USB NIC is a breath of fresh air! It’s size minimizes how much protrudes from the side of your laptop, or how much space it will take up on the back of your machine. USB wireless adapters are not all about modding, not a whole lot of customization options available here, but I do see one of these inside a mod, maybe on an internal USB port adapter or on an internal USB port mounted on a separate discrete USB card… the thing is so small it could *easily* and discretely be integrated into the inside of a mod and nobody would know! ;) Easy cheesy wireless networking! Here it is next to a quarter for size comparison:
So, the review here is going to be short and sweet, does it install properly given what it ships with, and how does it perform as compared to other devices? |
