Rosewill Apollo RK-9100xRBR Illuminated Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Review
Software
The included software with the Apollo is extremely basic and only allows you to control macro functions. As you may have noticed, there are no macro keys on the keyboard. This is because you can reprogram up to 10 keys per profile, for a total of 50 keys, to perform macro functions.
To use the software you simply click the “M1” or whichever macro number you want to assign, then click the key on wish to bind the macro to. As you can see above the list of macros you can assign by default are pretty basic. Once your settings are bound to a key, you simply press the key and it performs the desired option. This means, it’s original use is no longer available unless you reset the bound command.
Should you decide to bind a custom macro, you simply click record and then perform you macro and click stop. Then you can assign that macro to any of your 10 macro keys.
