Roccat Suora FX Keyboard Review: Less Frame, More Color
Its multi-colored and borderless; no it is not Donald Trump’s nightmare scenario but it is the premise behind Roccat’s latest mechanical keyboard. The Suora FX is the RGB LED variant of the previously released frameless Suora, while retaining its slim space saving, 100% layout design. Available in either silent tactile brown or clicky tactile blue TTC switches, the Roccat Suora is fully mechanical and promises NKRO via USB. Like all Roccat keyboards, it is compatible with Roccat’s Swarm driver software which will provide users further customization options for the LED lighting, key assignment, macro recording and more.

Roccat is based out of Germany but they offer localized versions of their keyboards. This sample they sent us in particular has a US ANSI layout compared to the European ISO layout on the official product page.
Inside the Roccat Suora FX is packed with a plastic cover and has a foam padding on top of the keys for protection.
The Roccat Suora FX connects via a sleeved USB cable which is hardwired into the body. The only other accessory bundled is the quick-installation guide and the disposal information sheet. To access and customize additional functionality, users would have to download the Roccat Swarm driver at http://www.roccat.org
