Razer DeathAdder Gaming Mouse
Conclusion |
The Razer DeathAdder mouse does give up a few dpi compared to the Copperhead series, but with the 3rd gen infrared tracking you do not notice it and well quite frankly it is much better. I found that the control of the DeathAdder was much better than my trusted G5 mouse; man that was hard to say as I really like that mouse. After a few practice games in COD2 while trying to dial in the settings I was ready to take on the younger and faster players than me. I felt that I had much better control when targeting my enemies and was able to play with more confidence. The next day I jumped into a few games and to my surprise my game had gotten much better. So much better that on two different servers I was accused of being a “Hacker”…lol. That my friends; had been a first for me and was quite the compliment.
It could have been a combination of my newly found confidence and my eagerness of wanting to kick some butt that boosted my play, but I do have to give a lot of the credit to the DeathAdder. The right handed mouse just feels better in the hand than the other Razer mice and that I have finally found a mouse that will conform to my style of play instead of me having to conform to the mouse. This combined with the improved performance of the tracking and the ability to adjust the dpi and polling rate makes it a deadly combonation that will be hard to beat. With just a few minor dis-likes about the mouse I will have to rated it a 9. |
I think most Razer stuff is super overrated, but the Deathadder is actually a really nice mouse.
