Phanteks Enthoo Luxe Full Tower Computer Case Review
So there we have it our look at the Phanteks Enthoo Luxe. We covered everything from the outside to the side of the case. With this being my first time with a Phanteks case I will say that I am very impressed with the quality of the Luxe and the thoughts that were put into the features. I will admit that I kind of gave it a once quick over when I got it out of the box and saw that the front and top panels are made of plastic with what looks like some aluminum inserted panles. I thought “Hmm, OK this look like most other cases”. But like they say never judge a book by it’s cover. As soon as I took off the side panels and found that they did not use the normal slide and latch tabs my initial thoughts began to change.
Little things like the elongated mounting holes for the cooling fans and the ability to install just about any size fan and water cooling radiators tells me that Phanteks started off the design thought process with these items in mind. Sometimes when you do this you have to give up something along the way. So I was searching and waiting for that moment to come, but as I got farther in to the case the more nice options I came across. Being able to remove the entire hard drive cage assemble and all the radiator mounting options make this a water coolers dream case. I can look past the plastic panels – which I am pretty done to help cut down on the cost- as this allowed the Phanteks team to add more needed features. I normally do not go looking for any information while doing reviews as I do not want others options or pricing to affect my judgement. After going through the case and its features I was guessing that the price for this case was going to in the $180-210 USD range, but the version that we reviewed is available for a shocking price of just $150.00 USD though-out the net. At this price there should be no reason for you to not purchase this case, move your current hardware into it or mod it for your next project.
