A Closer Look at Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ATX Galaxy Silver Edition
The front has a very sleek and minimalist look to it. At the top is a small flap that hides the front I/O ports, toward the bottom there is a small Power LED light that pulses, default color is White.(Blue, Green, Red are also included) On the sides and bottom are large vents to provide ample airflow.
With the front panel removed, the removable filter is revealed. Behind the removable filter the 2x 140mm fans can be accessed.
At the top of the front panel is a flip up door that hides the front I/O.
The top panel has 5 vents on each side to accommodate the airflow. In the center, towards the front is the power button.
Moving around to the bottom, there is a vent with a filter to the rear for the power supply. In the front you have the fasteners to remove the 3.25″ rack and the pump mount.
Each side panel is 3mm thick aluminum.
After popping off the side panels, the interior of the Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ATX Galaxy Silver Edition is exposed. Moving to the center there is a large power supply cover with 2.5″ SSD mounts on the side. In the motherboard tray there is a large cut-out for accessing the back of the motherboard to mount the CPU back plate for CPU coolers that require them. There are also two large rubber grommets for routing cables.
In the front there is the removable pump mount plate and the modular HDD mounting system. There is several places to mount a reservoir.
At the rear of the case, a 140mm case fan comes pre-installed. Below the case fan, in the hex mesh is another reservoir mount.
Inside, you will also find the USB 3.0, HD Audio, Power, Reset, HDD LED, and Power LED connections.
At the top, there a radiator mount. The mount slides out to make installation easier.
Since there is a large power supply cover on the front side of the case, you will need to install the power supply from the back. The opening is quite large and will support a 318mm power supply.
Directly above the power supply mount location are the two 2.5″ SSD Mounts.
Directly to the left of the SSD mounts, there is a built-in 6 port fan controller. There are six 3-pin fan connections. The white header is the primary connection and is used for the speed signal. The 4-pin header connects to a motherboard header.
3.5″ drives are also installed from the back side of the case.
On the right side there is about 17.5mm of clearance between the back of the motherboard tray and the side of the case for cable management.
At the front of the case, there is 30.5mm for cable management.
On the exterior rear of the case, we have the IO panel, to the right of that is the 120/140mm fan mount. There is a total of seven expansion slots.
