IMG_0723 - CopyThe Viper V760 is Patriot’s first shot at a gaming keyboard, first previewed at Computex 2015. Utilizing Kailh brown mechanical RGB switches, the Patriot V760 has fully backlit keys with variable multi-color per-key lighting of up to 16.8 million colors. Kailh brown switches like their Cherry MX brown counterpart, offers a tactile non-clicking actuation with replaceable keycap covers. For added comfort and convenience, the Patriot Viper V760 also offers a magnetic, detachable palm rest as well as feature control shortcuts via combo-keys. Since it is a gaming keyboard, it also has the essential 104-key rollover via USB as well as anti-ghosting functions with 103-key macro programmability.

The packaging is a sturdy, red box inside a thin windowed box, with both ends sealed with tape circles. The front, back, and sides outline the numerous features of the of the Viper V760.

Inside the red box is the keyboard, which is protected by a plastic bag and a grey piece of foam. Along with the keyboard is a red envelope and a palm rest. Inside the envelope is some promotional material, two Viper stickers (red ink on transparent background), and a quick-start guide.

An orange key-cap puller is also included for those who want to replace their keycaps with aftermarket parts or simply want to clean their keyboard for maintenance.
