OPSEAT Master Series Gaming Chair Review
Testing and Conclusion
According to OPSEAT, the gaming chair has a reclining spec of 135 degrees, however I was able to lean the chair almost a complete 180, which was somewhat stable but still terrifying for a top heavy person….OK heavy person all around. I would not recommend taking the chair to the levels seen in pictures two and three just to be safe. The chair is made from a high quality synthetic leather which did not seem to make a difference to the quality of chair, compared to other faux leathers I have encountered in the past that felt like aged cardboard. This is more so a personal preference to the user, whether they like firm or soft, but keep in mind overtime this will adjust, just like your favorite pair of jeans.
Much like the good ol’ American classic of the new kid on the block having to prove himself to the popular kids, OPSEAT has left their mark. Having tried out several gaming chairs from various vendors, some of which costing double the asking price of $249.99 and lacked features such as the adjustable armrest or support pillows. My only issue during the chair assembly was screw placement, which is a small bicker for a product that only took roughly fifteen minutes to assemble. Overall the chair is very comfortable and I felt no aches or pains after a several hour Overwatch marathon of matches, cannot say I have had the same result with a twenty dollar Walmart chair. For many, the idea of a $250+ chair is insane, and once upon a time I was just as guilty of this. However when you do the math of the number of hours spent behind the keyboard, it only makes sense to invest in a quality chair the same one would invest in a good bed. When price, quality, features and accessibility are factored in, the Master series from OPSEAT gaming chair gets the Modder’s inc, Recommended award, to show that although a budget friendly product, it stands up to the big boys.
