To ensure that your fans are running as smoothly as possible, you’re going to want to make sure you have a quality fan controller in your system. The Sentry 3 from NZXT is hands down the most well built, and best looking fan controller I’ve ever used. It seems that the days of old school knobs and toggle switches have come and gone, and the new king of the fan controller world is going to be touch screen.

Coming in at a price of just $35 at the time of this review, it’s hard not to recommend the Sentry 3. It has five channels that are capable of up to 15 watts per channel, plus it features a temperature sensor probe. The Sentry 3 also comes with a 2 year warranty, should anything go wrong. Ensuring that you’re getting the perfect airflow is easy when you’ve got the numbers to look at. Being able to monitor the temperature, as well as the fan speed is key when trying to achieve the correct balance of noise to airflow ratio.
