NZXT Premium Cables
Conclusion |
The cables performed admirably, were functional and appeared well constructed. The materials used in construction were consistently applied and the cables gave the appearance that I had spent a TON more time micro sleeving my power supply. This consistent color and the construction lends an aire of quality to the products. Add into that, when the extensions were bent sharply, the PET sleeving did not expose the cables inside. My only issue with these cables were with the VGA power cables @ 150mm. This is simply too short to provide a consistent appearance, as the attachment molexes will be in full view of the case internals. Simply not acceptable in my book. It may be to someone else, but I’m a bit visually picky. . NZXT has assured me that the issue has been recognized, and replacement product is on the way that is a longer cable configuration. As long as the build quality is consistent, and color accurate to these other cables, I will not have a problem recommending the replacement cables. On the whole, these cables will make you look like a power supply sleeving fiend, that (if done right) you will be the only one to know how you achieved the effect! For modding on a budget, these cables require no tools, and little technical skill. A simple cable management plan and some strategic tucking of wires, and you can clean you case up to look like something much more expensive! |
