Noctua NF-P12 Fan
Conclusion |
Now as I stated earlier. The Noctua NF-P12 fans are designed to be used on radiators and CPU coolers that do have tight fin spacing. I wanted to test these with a water cooling setup installed, but I currently don’t have a complete setup ready to run. Seeing that the NF-P12 fans where able to handle themselves nicely during my test, I have no doubt that they will perform well with a water cooling setup. With the decreased noise levels that the Noctua fans offer. I have no problem in recommending them. The only thing that one might find to be an issue is the color choice. Of course this is easily fixed with a little modding :D. With Noctua, your not only getting a high quality fan that offers excellent cooling at a decreased noise level, you also get a 6 year warranty. Yes thats correct, I said 6 years. The NF-P12 fans go for around $20 US and are a little steeper than some fans. Those of us that know just how important cooling is, will have no problem spending a few extra bucks for a fan that is going to produce lower noise levels, offer adequate cooling, and have a 6 year warranty. The Noctua NF-P12 fans talk pretty much for themselves. I will be doing a review on Noctua’s new CPU cooler that utilizes the NF-P12 here in the near future, so keep an eye out for it. |
