No Nascar? iRacing event for Atlanta Speedway and will feature NASCAR drivers

Today, iRacing is set to host a NASCAR race at the online version of Atlanta Motor Speedway with 10+ NASCAR drivers as they sit out Coronavirus postponements in the real world
The racing world is essentially on pause due to the Coronavirus outbreak. So, as drivers sit at home, they’ve turned to the sim chassis.

At least 11 current and former NASCAR drivers are set to run a race in the digital world at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

The next two weeks of NASCAR events are currently postponed. Races this weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway and next week at Homestead-Miami Speedway have been placed on hold.

Initially, both of those races were scheduled to be run without fans in the stands. Hours ahead of the first practice session at Atlanta, the weekend was postponed.

The ARCA Menards Series and racing series all over the globe have joined the full-stop of racing events.

iRacing is an online motorsports simulation service. Many NASCAR drivers have teams of their own that compete in high levels within the service.
