MSI Pro Mod Season 5 Voting Now Open

After 3 months of building by modders from all over the globe, the MSI Pro Mod Season 5 modding competition public voting phase has started and will end on July 23rd at 23:59 (GMT +8).

The building phase ran from April 10th to July 10th of this year and included 25 PC mods classified into two categories (Scratch Build and Casemod).

There were only two rules that the case mods had to follow:

1. The motherboard and graphics card assembled in the mod MUST be MSI brand (onboard GPU is allowed)
2. The mod must fulfill the “ARCTIC” theme requirement

The evaluation criteria is split into two stages:

The four judges for this event are all renowned worldwide modders:

• Dave Cathey (United States) – won 2nd place of ‘Tower Mod’ category in the Cooler Master Case Mod World Series 2016 with his “Gigantea” mod and 2nd place of ‘Tower Mod’ category in the Cooler Master Case Mod World Series 2015 with his “F3” case mod.
• Oliver Peier (Germany) – his “Obsidian” case mod won 1st place of ‘Case Mods’ category and 3rd place of ‘Cases on the Move’ category at DCMM 2011.
• Ronnie Hara (Japan) – his “Minions” case mod was listed in Forbes magazine as “The 3 Most Incredible PCs of April 2014” and won 1st place in Bit-Tech Rig of the Year 2013 with his “Skyline GT-R” case mod.
• Jengki Wmp (Thailand) – his “Infinity Gauntled” case mod won 2nd place of “Germany’s Most Beautiful Case” category at DCMM 2016, 1st place of APAC region and the People’s Choice award in MSI Pro Mod Season 4.

People that enter to vote for their choice of winners will also be in the running for prizes.

• Third prize (five winners): Inwin Pro-1 Headphone Stand (Red/White)
