Micro-Star International, better known as MSI has sent us a treat! We will be taking a look at one of their latest products, the MSI Immerse GH70 Gaming Headset. Websters dictionary describes “immerse” as “to plunge into something that surrounds or covers…” and “completely immersed in his work”. Lets see if the MSI Immerse GH70 Gaming Headset stands up to that mission AND lives up to its name!

Our first look at the MSI Immerse GH70 Gaming Headset is of the sleeve surrounding the box. Right away we can see there is something special here. We have the MSI Dragon in the center. In bold Silver and Red lettering is the remarkable name, “IMMERSE GH70 GAMING HEADSET”. In the upper right corner, we have an RGB symbol and the words Mystic Light. What could be in-store for us here? Lower right is the Hi-Res AUDIO logo. Between those two, we may have something special here.

The sides of the sleeve give us more insight into the MSI Immerse GH70 Gaming Headset. On the right panel we see that there is a Solid Steel Design. The bands at the top connecting the ear pieces are of brushed steel as are the two decorative supports on the ear pieces. Also we find more information on the RGB Mystic Light. 16.8 million color combinations! I already know these cycle through some very cool colors. What else can we do?

The left panel lets us know about the Hi-Res Audio with 7.1 Surround Sound. They say the MSI Immerse GH70 Gaming Headset “will enable you to hear everything in greater detail”. Hearing is believing.

The back of the sleeve gives us even more of the picture, so to speak. Designed for Comfort. Hi-Res Audio for More Detail. In-line Remote Control. The MSI Immerse GH70 Gaming Headset has some amazing features!

Three cool graphs show you just how much better the sound on the MSI Immerse GH70 Gaming Headset is supposed to be. The handy remote with volume control, mic mute, and on/off for 7.1 surround is just plain cool!

So once we remove the sleeve from the box we are faced with that AWESOME MSI Logo! I’m just waiting for that Red Dragon to come out and start breathing fire!
