I then set out the LEDs in the mouse and assembled them on the poor man's solder jig, then to shrink tube, clear coated the bare leads, and hook it to the mouse power.
The only spot to solder was a tight solder on the connector's pins. A test before final assembly. power came from a KVM switch.
