Beside the fact that the LCD is now a no hinged item you will notice that the handle and and massive amount of option keys are now gone. Doing so made the overall size of the Logitech G15 Keyboard smaller in width and more attractive. You still get all the function out the keys as before, just less of them. I had a hard time figuring out how to fill up the functions for the 18 key on the old G15 let alone X3 (54) that amount, pure overkill. Sometimes more is not better and Logitech figured that out.

Just as the old keyboard the new G15 has all the keys backlit. All the keys are orange in color and have the 3 settings of off, slightly lit, and full bright.
