Lian Li PC-V700 Mid Tower Case
Final Thoughts and Score
I like the direction that Lian Li went with on the PC-V700 to give us a different look and options for a mid tower case. Moving the power supply to the front of the case has been done before, but the way they solved some of the issues did make it unique to me. I am still not sure about the hot air from the power supply coming out of the front, but on those cold winter nights you would have a built in heater that you can use to warm your fingers.
Going with an tool less design also gave the side panels a different look. You do not have to mess with any thumb screws or sliding the panel into some groves to make it flush. I am a bit worried about the pins that were “spot welded” on to the panels as there is a fair good amount of force is used to remove the panels and I not sure about the longevity off them.
I can say that is like no other mid tower case that I have seen in recent years, which is a good thing as innovation is the key to success. I have always been a fan of the Lian Li style that gives you plenty of features with a sleek style, and I would say that the PC-V700 is no exception.
