Lian Li PC-V700 Mid Tower Case
At this point I will be taking you through the inside of the case and all the features that it has to offer, which is quite a few of them.
In order to see the inside we must first remove the side panels and starting here we something different than most cases. A series of pins are attached to the the inside of the panels. These pins have a counter part hasp that is embedded into the edge of the case that make a snap sound once they have been fully seated in to the position.
With the right side panel removed you can see that the motherboard plate has a nice size access window to allow you to swap out your CPU with ease without having to remove the motherboard. There is also a fair amount of space available to allow you run cables and hide wires.
Here it is your first look into to the Lian Li PC-V700. Our sample came with a fully anodized black interior while some of the production models do have a non-anodized motherboard tray, hard drive cage, and I/O card covers.
From this vantage point we can see where three 129mm fans are located inside the case. We also get a glimpse of the front multi-media port cables that connect to the motherboard.
Looking at the hard drive cage we see that we have enough space to add three full size SATA hard drives and three Solid State Drives (SSD) in a removable drive cage. Right in front of the larger cage there is a 140mm fan and filter to ensure that the case is kept well ventilated.
To keep with the tool less design a locking mechanism is used to keep all the drives securely in place. A thumb screw is used to unlock and lock a sliding latch in place.
