Kingston HyperX Cloud Stinger Review: Featherlight
Final Thoughts
Cloud Stinger by Kingston really does deliver what it promises, lightweight design with few cool features that do not break the bank. When looking at just the sound performance/reproduction of Cloud Stinger it is spot on as well. It is hard to find a good pair of headsets on the budget.
Personally, I think Cloud Stinger is a very comfortable headset that I can wear for hours at a time and not get any fatigue in my head or ears. Neodymium magnets are used with 50mm drivers in Cloud Stinger. Majority of the lightweight is accomplished by using these light weight magnets.
Price vs value of Cloud Stinger is very competitive. Currently Cloud Stinger retails for $49.99 USD and that puts this headset in competition with SteelSeries and ThermalTake. I think Cloud Stinger is in the sweet spot as far as pricing goes and it definitely poses a threat to other gaming peripherals manufacturers.
