Both kits are packaged in plastic blister packs with clear fronts. The memory modules are clearly displayed through the clear front. The stickers on the front detail the model number of each memory kit as well as the specification of each.

First up we will take a look at the Kingston HyperX Predator DDR3 Memory Kit. This kit is 8 GB in size using two 4GB memory modules and runs at DDR3 1333 MHz @ 9-9-9-24 timings by default. The Kingston HyperX Predator kit can use two XMP Profiles. Profile #1: DDR3 1866 MHz @ 9-11-9-27. Profile #2: DDR3 1600 @ 9-9-9-27.

Kingston HyperX DDR3 Memory

The Kingston HyperX Predator kit features a tall heat spreader to help keep the memory module cool during use. The total module height is  2.1″ and may interfere with large CPU coolers if the memory is installed in the slots closest to the CPU socket.
