Deepcool Gamer Storm Gabriel Review
A Closer Look
The Deepcool Gamer Storm Gabriel comes packaged in a fairly unassuming box. The box is adorned with the company and product name, but not much else. Around the box, which is actually two boxes, there are a few specifications. Looks like Deep Cool is giving you a reason to open the box, just to see what is inside.
After opening and unpacking the mysterious black box, you will find the CPU cooler and the accessories to get it mounted to the top of that processor. The Deepcool Gamer Storm Gabriel supports both Intel and AMD sockets.
The Deepcool Gamer Storm Gabriel is an extremely compact cooler. Height without the fan comes in at 40 mm or 1.5 inches tall. Installing the fan adds another 20mm for a total of 60 mm or 2.3 inches in height.
The Deepcool Gamer Storm Gabriel facilitates cooling with the use of four 6 mm heat pipes. These heat pipes carry hot vapor to the fins. The fins then transfer the heat to the air which causes the liquid inside the cpu cooler to re-condense and start the cycle over again. 6 mm heat pipes are a pretty standard feature in tower CPU coolers.
