- Large CPU backplate cutout
Installation of the internal components was pretty painless however, you need to keep in mind the depth of the case and the height of the CPU cooler. Maximum CPU cooler height in this case is officially 160mm. If you have anything higher than that your CPU cooler might not fit, although a CM V6 GT heatsink was able to be installed which is 165mm tall.
As you can see from the image above my CPU cooler is just tall enough to fit in the frame. The installation of the video cards was normal as well. I didn’t run in to any issues. What I do recommend is to keep in mind the type of motherboard you are planning to use with this case. If you are planning to use an ATX motherboard, please make sure that the bottom IO ports on the motherboard are facing out and not down. You will have difficulty connecting USB and audio ports on the motherboard if the connections are facing down.
Cable management is not great and can be a challenge in a case this size but it’s not completely non-existent. With some careful planning and thinner power supply cables, it is possible to have a nice cable management here.
