The NotePal A1 is well perforated which means there should not be any shortage of cool air supplied to the bottom of your notebook.

The fans are 70 mm 5v/.28a fans located in the upper left and right of the cooler stand. Check the bottom of your notebook to see where your intakes are located. My Dell D630 has it’s main fan opening such that it it sitting right over the upper left of this NotePal surface.

On the back of the unit is the power switch and the power source. You simply attach the included USB cable to your laptop, and it pulls the power off of the 5v supply from the USB port. They then put a 2nd port down off of the NotePal to make sure you do not loose any USB port functionality . Simply use it like you would with a USB port off of your laptop.
