A Closer Look

Cooler Master is known for high-end cases with features made to wow, so lets look at those given to the N400, we will see what works, what doesn’t ,and what we would like to see.

The case comes equipped with many standard features such as four USB ports, two of which are USB 3.0, a nice touch at this price. Front audio and microphone ports and both power and reset buttons. Some the other features we will get into later look great on the box but we will see later if they deliver.

The case itself is made mostly of steel with a small clean mesh front. Not uncommon at this price, The combination of steel case and plastic bezel allows Cooler Master to keep costs down while still giving the Cooler Master N400 its own unique appearance.

The entire front panel is mesh allowing for great airflow. The front bezel must be removed to add extra fans to the front of the case or to add any hardware to the top three bays. This is hardly an issue though as Cooler Master has added a handle to the bottom of the front bezel for easy removal.

On the front panel we have easy access to the power and reset buttons, as well as our HD audio jacks. The front panel also has four USB ports, two of which are USB 3.0.
