Cooler Master Cosmos SE ATX Tower Case
Interior Features
Opening up the Cooler Master Cosmos SE reveals the innards of the case and where each component should/could go. There are plenty of drive bays to meet almost anyone’s storage needs.
The Cooler Master Cosmos SE most prominent feature on the inside is the amount of storage. There are a total of eight 3.5″ drive trays. Each tray has a mount on the underneath that can house a SSD. Combined with a 3.5 to 2.5″ adapter each tray can hold two SSD each. The trays on the side of the case can be installed from either side. That option is up to the installer.
Two additional drive bays for hard drives are located up front. The drive trays are the same as the trays used in the other drive bays.
With the front bezel removed you can see the lower drive bays. Cooler Master made the bays easily accessible in the Cooler Master Cosmos SE. Also on the front of the case are two 120mm blue LED case fans.
The back of the Cooler Master Cosmos SE features tool less PCI expansion brackets. Here you can also see the security bracket. The idea is to secure the cables by running them into the case then right back out to the I/O panel of the motherboard. The rear case fan that is included with the Cooler Master Cosmos SE is a 120mm non-LED black fan
The top of the inside of the Cooler Master Cosmos SE is a mesh design, again the idea is to increase airflow thus increasing cooling. The Cooler Master Cosmos SE comes with a 140mm non-LED fan installed. The top plate can take a 240mm radiator for those who wish to use water cooling.
