With the key cap removed, you can see the switch underneath. These switches are heavy duty and tested out to 50 million key presses. The switches are also backed with a metal plate to help ensure the keyboard won’t fail during a frantic fragging session.

With the red key caps on there is a stark difference between the command keys and everything else. This allows the gamer to get back on the command keys quickly as they can be seen in the peripheral vision. For the touch typists out there the home keys continue to have indicators so finding them is as easy as it is on most other keyboards.

The cable to the keyboard can be removed. There are cable troughs along the bottom of the keyboard to allow the cable to exit without getting caught underneath.
