One of my fellow reviewers did a keyboard review where he removed the back of the keyboard to give you a look inside.  So I thought, why not do that!  After 30 keys and 18 very teeny tiny screws, the back would still not come off.  Hmm!.  A closer look on the back of the keyboard under one of the folding feet revealed an ominous sticker “DO NOT REMOVE”.  Well, Modders-Inc’s motto is” Void Your Warranty”, so, I removed the sticker! And found the hidden screw!  So without further adieu, lets look inside the Cooler Master CK552 Full RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard!

There of course are a lot of solder joints.  Lots of resistors, a few capacitors and a diode at each switch.  Everything is controlled by a Holtek HT32F1654 micro-controller. It’s that small square with the white and red dots, just below the cable connection.  The Gateron switches are securely mounted on the PCB.

All the switches are pressed into the aluminum frame.  It appears quite sturdy and has very little flex.  Unlike some other keyboards, all the weight in this one is legit.
