Final Thoughts

CM Storm Reaper Mouse from the Aluminum Gaming Series CM Storm, Gaming Mouse 1

So I have been using the CM Storm Reaper for several weeks now and doing all the normal stuff that you would do. I will admit that the aluminum scroll wheel was my biggest concern to get used to. During the first few days the wheel felt slick to me, but I think that might from the manufacture process and it might of had a slight oil base on it. Then again it could be my delicate soft fingers that could not grip the wheel. After a few days the surface of the wheel felt more and more “grippy”. The weight of the CM Storm Reaper Mouse might be just a bit heavy if your into counting grams. To me a mid weight mouse gives a stable and easier to control experience. The side button locations for me where just about perfect. They were easy to use when needed and out of the way with no accidental clicks.  The left side thumb rest/groove is just what the mouse needed to help control it. If something like this could be added for the pinky finger on the right side of the mouse, the mouse would be perfect for me. With the style, software and feel the CM Storm Reaper is an excellent choice for your next mouse.

  1. I’m using a Logitech G500 right now, and have been looking to upgrade. The Reaper is one of 3 mice I’ve been looking at, but I haven’t been able to find an answer to this – Does the mouse wheel have a left and right click? Also, can you set the clicks so they perform different functions?
