I also like the finished product to be recognizable as a computer case. Now don't get me wrong I really enjoy (and working on a few myself) and looking at what we call "Out-of-the-Box" case mods. Using a burnt orange color with a metal flake topcoat it really stands out from the crowd. The inside of the case was left pretty much stock except that the whole frame was powder-coated a semi-rough flat black, the same look you would find in a lot of hot rod car engine compartments.
