Azio MGK 1 RGB Mechanical Keyboard Review: Less Is More
Mechanical keyboards have been around since we started using keyboards as input devices for the PC. Early (1970’s era) mechanical keyboards were heavy and loud which eventually led manufactures to produce membrane based keyboards. PC gaming helped lead a resurgence in the reintroduction of the mechanical keyboard. Azio’s MGK 1 RGB mechanical keyboard contains the Kailh mechanical switch and does have RGB LED backlighting.
Packaging
The MGK 1 packaging features a large graphic of the keyboard on the front of the box. On the rear, Azio goes into detail on the features and specifications of the MGK 1 RGB keyboard.
Inside, you’ll find the Azio MGK 1 tucked away in a set of foam end caps to protect the keyboard from damage. To protect the finish of the keyboard, Azio wrapped the MGK 1 in a protective plastic bag.
The box for the MGK 1 RGB is separated into two compartments. The upper compartment contains the keyboard and the lower compartment contains the user guide, keycap removal tool, and palm rest.
