Conclusion |
With the Asus P7H55D-M Evo being my first chance to play with the new Intel Core i5 processor and the H55 chipset, I really didn’t know what kind of performance I would get out of it. With this being setup for integrated graphics and it being a micro-ATX form factor, it was obvious that it was geared toward the HTPC market. The board layout is ideal, everything is where it needs to be. For those looking to build an HTPC computer, the Asus P7H55D-M Evo will have no issues doing the tasks at hand. For the gamers looking for a compact solution to tote back and forth to LAN parties. This will easily fit the bill providing you take the extra step and installed an appropriate video card to suite your needs. This really could be a mean little setup paired with the right components. It will also have no problems catering to the overclockers wanting to squeeze the maximum performance out of the system. The P7H55D-M Evo is loaded with tweaking utilities and offers just about every option one needs in the BIOS. Asus has truly made things as simple as possible with the P7H55D-M Evo. With this beast going for around $120, how could any one go wrong building a system with it?
