Intel’s Broadwell-E HEDT CPU is definitely arriving soon and not just the stuff of rumours as evident with the another motherboard manufacturer announcing BIOS updates that will enable compatibility with current X99 motherboards. First MSI announced two weeks ago that updates are now available to enable the feature and ASRock has officially acknowledged the impending release as well via press release.
The new flagship Core i7-6950X is expected to be a 10-core monster with 25MB of L3 cache. ASRock also confirms in the press release that the BIOS update includes support for the other upcoming Broadwell-E CPU family i7-6900K, i7-6850K and i7-6800K.
