Antec Kuhler H20 620 CPU Water Cooler
Testing and Conclusion |
We noticed the Antec cooler did a very good job in cooling below the stock fan temps. We almost always idled at around 30 – 33C and only under extreme load did we go over 50C. Gaming and normal use you will see about a 15 degrees difference inside your case from the stock temps (will vary depending on case). We also decided to take this box to Geektopia for some 100 person Lan testing and even with the all the nerd heat and monster smell we still stayed around the same temps as when we were at the office .
Here are our test results after running some load tests and graphics tests. I was impressed with how well it handled the heat even with the smaller cooling tubes, even under load it stayed quiet in operation, especially versus the stock fan.
Would definitely recommend this to someone who wants test out water cooling but does not want the hassle of piecing together one of the high end custom kits. But remember this not intended for those that do some heavy overclocking. This is a kit for someone that is tired of those massive heat pipe coolers or that just want to try something new. For a simple to install and light weight water cooling solution we were very happy with the performance that Antec’s Kuhler H20 620 was able to produce. |
