ASRock Radeon RX 5600 XT Phantom Gaming D3 GPU Review

Is 1080p gaming dead? Far from it!

A Closer Look at ASRock RX 5600 XT Phantom Gaming D3 »

ASRock Radeon RX 5600 XTIs 1080p gaming dead? Far from it, I say. 1080p gaming has become more affordable for the budget market. So I do not see it going away any time soon. Even eSports FPS professionals play on a 1080p resolution. The reason they choose 1080p over say 2K or 4K is because of the enlarged targets and so it’s easier for them to acquire the target on the screen. Another reason they choose lower resolutions is to boost their frames per second rates thus resulting in a smoother play. If you are looking to game on a 1080p resolution there are several on the budget video cards that can help you to achieve the best experience at low resolution. One of the Graphics Cards I am talking about is AMD’s Radeon RX 5600 XT GPU. The RX 5600 XT is an improved version of RX 5500 XT and a direct competitor to NVIDIAs GeForce RTX 2060. Our sample of the RX 5600 XT comes from ASRock. ASRock taking the reference RX 5600 XT GPU and overclocking Core Clock and Memory Clock right from the factory. Besides factory overclocking RX 5600, XT Phantom Gaming D3 features a massive 3 fan heatsink cooler and ARGB logo.

The packaging of ASRock RX 5600 XT Phantom Gaming D3 is extremely similar to ASRock’sRX 5500 XT. We see the same style of imagery here with a section for Specifications, Key Features, and Minimum System requirements. If you would like to compare these two cards you can refer to our ASRock RX 5500 XT review here.
