HyperX Pulsefire Dart Mouse & Chargeplay Base Review

HyperX is well known for its memory and SSD products and its Cloud headsets.  Recently, their peripheral lineup has grown to include a keyboard and three mice.  Their latest mouse, the Pulsefire Dart, is an understated mouse with an emphasis on long battery life and wireless charging.

Packaging

The Dart comes packaged in a plain white and red cardboard retail box.  The front, back, and left side show the mouse from different angles, while the right side lists some of the mouse’s specs.

Inside the box, the packaging doesn’t get any more exciting.  The mouse is packaged in a plastic shell with a sticker to protect the bottom.  The 2.4 GHz dongle is clipped into the plastic next to the mouse and the accessories are tucked away in a compartment at the bottom of the box.

Removing the mouse from the box, we find that there are stickers protecting the shiny plastic surfaces of the smaller buttons.

Accessories

The Pulsefire Dart comes with few accessories asides from its wireless dongle.  You get a USB charging cable, a puck that converts the charging cable into an extension for placing your dongle in a better location, and a quick start guide.
