Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240R RGB AIO CPU Cooler
AIO or All In One liquid coolers have been around for a while and are in fact here to stay. They offer consumers some of the advantages of custom loop water cooling with the simplicity of air cooler installation. The Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240R RGB is a 240mm cooler that features a dual chamber pump as well as a full copper cold plate. The radiator has space for up to four 120mm fans and included in this kit are two MasterFan MR120R ARGB (addressable RGB) fans. Cooler Master has been making CPU coolers, both air and water cooled for years. On paper, the ML240R looks to be a good performing and stylish cooler.

Packaging
The MasterLiquid ML240R comes packaged in what I’d call standard Cooler Master packaging. The base color of the box is a dark grey with purple accents. This has been Cooler Master’s color scheme for years. On the front of the box, you’ll see a large glossy image of the cooler housed inside, assembled of course, with the product name in white letters below it. The front gives you a great indication of the cooler’s looks.
The back of the box has more information about the features in multiple different languages. At the bottom of the box, there is line art graphics with dimensional information. This gives you the opportunity to check and see if this cooler will fit your build before you purchase. Although, tube length would be another good dimension to add to the information provided.
Inside, you’ll find the cooler and its accessories all neatly wrapped and packed. The parts sit inside a recycled cardboard insert that has slots for all the parts. This helps ensure that nothing shifts around during transport.
After unpacking it all, you can see there’s a lot of stuff here. Inside you’ll find the radiator/pump combo, two MasterFan MF120R ARGB 120mm fans, a controller for both RGB and ARGB, the mounting kit for sockets LGA2066, LGA2011-v3, LGA2011, LGA1151, LGA1150, LGA1155, LGA1156, LGA1366, LGA775, AM4, AM3+, AM3, AM2+, AM2, FM2+, FM2, FM1, screws for mounting the various components and wires for the lighting.
