So what is a Tesseract?! You know you’ve heard that word before. Was it in Science class? Read in some form of fiction? Or just as a geometric math problem. By the end of this review, you may know another meaning of the word, “Tesseract”!
DeepCool is a modest company located in Beijing, China. They have been in the computer industry since 1996 and began life as a provider of thermal solutions for desktop, server coolers and cooling accessories. Not to long after entering the computer industry, they expanded into several other areas of PC products. With many awards under their belt, they have built a reputation with daily users and in the gamer arenas. They are also one of only a handful of companies in the computer marketplace that is ISO14000 certified. That means they are committed to being Green and Eco friendly. The Tesseract line is just one of several that they produce. The Tesseract SW is a lightweight steel and inexpensive case that is anything but cheap. So can a case built by an ecologically friendly company compete with bigger names and more expensive cases? You’re about to find out!
The Tesseract SW is just one of family of cases from DeepCool. The case arrived in an almost plain brown wrapper. A simple cardboard box with the Specifications on one side and the features on the other. No fancy packaging from this Green company. Wrapped in a plastic bag and cradled in two high density foam supports, the Tesseract SW will arrive at your door with nary a scratch.
