Case Modding Tools
Modder’s Tools: Swaddled in Saran
It can be tricky moving a case mod, especially if it’s hand-built and has delicate parts. A casual bump or scrape can cause obvious damage to an otherwise perfect piece of work.
Fortunately, there’s an easy way to protect your project: plastic wrap.
Wrapping a mod in clingy plastic wrap protects the paint job, and also helps keep any loose parts in place. This cheap form of protection can be applied in a few minutes, then easily cut off after delivery. Just make sure to buy a fresh roll before wrapping something, as the process can consume a fair amount of material.
