Kingston HyperX Cloud Revolver Headset Review

A Closer Look At The Kingston HyperX Cloud Revolver Headset »

DSC_8679The Kingston HyperX Cloud Revolver is the latest headset in Kingston’s product family. Kingston’s gaming headset line up has grown to four different models which feature both 3.5mm and USB connectivity. Last years HyperX Cloud and the updated HyperX Cloud II met with quite a bit of success and we were impressed with them and gave the HyperX Cloud II the must have award in our review. The HyperX Cloud Revolver is pretty much a new design for the family rather than an update to the existing family.  Kingston is taking another shot at the headset market with the Cloud Revolver. The headset features 50mm drives and uses 3.5mm plugs for connectivity.

The outer box packaging has plenty of text and graphics on the front and back. The front of the box shows a clear image of the headset while the back of the box lists out the features and specifications of the unit.

The inner box is entirely black with a chrome HyperX logo embossed in the center. Printed behind the top of the box is a welcome letter from Anders Wilumsen, HyperX General manager thanking buyers for purchasing the headset.
