HWBOT’s World Tour continues in Gamers Assembly, France. The HWBOT World tour 2015 is a series of overclocking events worldwide through out the year whose goal is to spread the gospel of overclocking and provide both amateur and seasoned overclockers to play around with LN2 and other overclocking activities. European Overclockers Invited to Poitiers, France for OC Workshops and World Series Contests
April , 2015 – HWBOT.org, an organization regulating international overclocking competitions and rankings is proud to announce the second stop of the HWBOT World Tour 2015 at Gamers Assembly in Poitiers, France on April 4-6.
The HWBOT World Tour 2015 is a series of overclocking events hosted around the globe throughout the year. The main aim is to give both seasoned and amateur overclockers the chance to mix it up in a comfortable environment with plenty of LN2 on hand.
Running in conjunction with Gamers Assembly, the largest Lan Party in France, gaming enthusiasts are also invited to get involved and gain their very taste of overclocking with workshop sessions that equipe total newcomers with the basic skills needed to compete. The event also incorporates World Series contests structured towards both amateur and extreme players, as well as more open free-style sessions.
“With the second stop on the inaugural World Tour, we really want to build on the success of the first leg in Canada a few weeks ago to once again nurture the next generation while also providing an opportunity for more experienced players to enjoy the social and competitive side of the sport”, commented Pieter-Jan Plaisier, Director at HWBOT.
Gamers Assembly OC Event Schedule
Incorporating the recent experience from the North American event last month, the schedule of the European leg has been optimized to allow smoother execution of the workshops and Amateur competitions. Check out the full schedule in the image below
World Series Competition Details
The World Series competition is designed for overclockers that attend the event and bench with liquid nitrogen. In order to keep things consistent across the different World Tour events, the European stop will feature the same selection of stages as were used in North America. The competition involves three separate stages with a specific set of limitations for each:

Amateur OC Workshops
The World Series for Amateurs is a competition designed for beginners and first time overclockers. Open to all Gamers Assembly participants, visitors as well as any overclocker from the Rookie to Enthusiasts Leagues, the World Series for Amateurs comes in combination with a workshop in which newcomers will be taught the very basics before being able to qualify.
World Series for Amateurs Competition
The World Series for Amateurs final will be held on Sunday evening. The finals will start at 7pm and last until 9:30pm run as a series of 15min long single elimination matches. For the Amateurs competition, systems are provided so there is no necessity to bring anything.
