Razer on the other hand wanted to have a custom designed mechanical keys specifically made for gaming for its 2014 range. According to them, since mechanical keys are primarily designed for typists, its only make sense to make custom keys emphasizing for gaming use. They designed and engineered with two type of mechanical switches: Green and Orange. The green keys are designed for tactile and clicky noise with 50g actuation force. Razer Orange switches also have tactile but is made for silent use, with 45g actuation. The one that I am reviewing is the green variant.
