Modding of keyboards are not popular for some reason. I mean we have to use them to get things done on our PC’s and they are positioned right in front of us most of our days, yet we look right past them. Modders-Inc has done a few keyboard mods in the past and that is what drew Tesorotec (Tesoro) to our site. After a bit of deep negations “Do you want to mod some keyboards for us (Tesoro)” “Oh, hell yeah! (Modders-Inc)” we agreed and committed to do 10 custom keyboard plates for the Tesoro Gram series keyboard. You can read a review of this keyboard here at Modders-Inc to check out its features.
What was determined was that 10 different custom designs needed to be created and they would in turn be mated back with the Tesoro Gram keyboard. This might sounds easy enough but creating 10 different styles is not as easy as it might sound. The other issue is, have to looked and seen how much exposed real estate is available on most keyboards? Go ahead look down and you will see what I am talking about. Now you understand our dilemma, but as modders we create and over come whatever may stand in our way. Taking on the task Modders-Inc our team members Ron, Michael, Craig and Dewayne. As you will see there are diffidently different styles that went into creating these one-of-a-kind plates.
There is a purpose as to why these custom pieces where created, not just for the challenge, but for the the sole purpose of giving them away! You read that right. Tesoro will be giving away all 10 of these one-off custom Tesoro Gram keyboards. You could be the proud owner of a keyboard that no one else in the world will have!
